Red Lobster prides itself on fostering a welcoming environment for both guests and employees, creating a sense of belonging and community wherever it operates.
The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is vital to maintaining the smooth operation and memorable dining experiences that guests expect. This part-time position offers competitive wages with weekly pay and flexible scheduling to accommodate various availability needs. Additional benefits include options for affordable medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match following one year of service. Employees also enjoy anniversary pay, discounted meals during shifts, and a 25 percent discount when dining as guests. As a Busser/Runner, you will be the first face guests see upon entering the restaurant, greeting them warmly and helping set a positive tone for their visit. Responsibilities encompass preparing your station for service, ensuring tables are stocked with silverware and condiments, refilling drinks, and assisting servers by running hot food promptly to tables. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards are essential aspects of the role, including clearing and resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, and breaking down items in the dish area. Strong communication skills are necessary to report table readiness and support team coordination effectively. Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods during shifts are required.
Red Lobster values employees who are team players with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The company is proud to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to help them perform their essential job functions.
