Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned seafood restaurant chain that has been serving fresh, high-quality seafood and exceptional dining experiences for over fifty years. Originating from a simple vision to connect people to the coast and seafood in a unique and meaningful way, Red Lobster has grown to encompass over 500 restaurants nationwide. Each location reflects the company’s dedication to hospitality, community involvement, and memorable meals, making Red Lobster more than just a place to eat — it is a welcoming environment where new friends become familiar faces, and guests feel like part of an extended family.

At Red Lobster, employee satisfaction is a top priority. The company offers competitive wages with weekly pay to ensure employees are rewarded timely. Flexible scheduling is available to help balance work-life demands, and a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans start at less than $10 per week, demonstrating Red Lobster’s commitment to employee health and wellbeing. Additional benefits include life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match available after one year of service. Red Lobster also recognizes employee milestones through anniversary pay, fostering loyalty and rewarding long-term dedication. Team members enjoy perks such as discounted shift meals and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Most importantly, Red Lobster invests in its people by offering comprehensive training and clear career advancement opportunities, encouraging employees to grow professionally within the company.

The Busser/Runner role at Red Lobster is an essential part of maintaining the high standards for which the brand is known. This role requires a team-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and has a strong attention to detail. As a Busser/Runner, individuals will be responsible for welcoming guests warmly, ensuring the dining area is set up and maintained to the highest quality standards, and supporting both guests and servers to deliver an exceptional dining experience. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long shifts and safely lift items up to 30 pounds. Attention to food safety and cleanliness standards is critical for maintaining health and safety compliance. Through tasks such as refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables, clearing dishes, resetting tables, and running hot food to guests, the Busser/Runner plays a vital role in guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Red Lobster takes great pride in being an equal opportunity employer, cultivating an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued and every employee feels respected and supported. The company is committed to providing equal employment opportunities without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. Red Lobster’s future looks promising as the company continues to innovate and expand, offering employees a chance to be part of a dynamic team with exciting growth opportunities. Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a family that celebrates tradition, quality, and the joy of sharing great seafood with others.
