The Busser/Runner role at Red Lobster is essential in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for every guest. This position involves welcoming guests with a friendly smile, setting up the station for the shift, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Key responsibilities include ensuring that silverware and condiments are properly arranged on tables, refilling drinks, and pre-bussing tables to keep the dining area tidy. The Busser/Runner supports servers by promptly running hot food to guests as it becomes ready in the kitchen alley and providing needed assistance. Maintaining strict adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards is fundamental to the role. Cleaning duties involve clearing dishes, resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, and communicating table readiness to other team members. Additionally, employees assist with breaking down items in the dish area when required.

This position is physically demanding and suitable for individuals who can stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds safely. Being a team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively are important qualities for success in this role.
