The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is essential to the smooth operation and guest satisfaction within the restaurant. As a Busser/Runner, you will be the welcoming face for every guest entering the restaurant, greeting them with a friendly smile and ensuring their table setup is perfect for service. Your duties will include preparing your station for each shift, ensuring that all tables have the necessary silverware and condiments, and assisting servers by refilling drinks and pre-clearing tables. You will also be responsible for running hot food from the kitchen to guests promptly, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, and supporting guests in any way possible to enhance their dining experience. Clearing dishes, resetting tables, and cleaning seating areas and floors will also fall under your responsibilities, ensuring the restaurant maintains a high standard of cleanliness throughout the shift. Communication is key in this role, as you will be responsible for notifying the team when tables are ready for new guests and for helping manage the dish area as needed. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds safely, and remain on your feet for extended periods during 8 to 12 hour shifts. It is ideal for individuals who are attentive to detail, able to multitask effectively, and enjoy working as part of a team.
