Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned restaurant chain with over 500 locations, dedicated to delivering a unique and memorable dining experience centered around seafood and coastal flavors. Established over fifty years ago with a vision to connect people to the sea through exceptional meals and warm hospitality, Red Lobster has grown into a beloved dining destination. The company takes pride not only in its food but also in being a vital part of the communities it serves, where customers become regular friends and employees find a welcoming and inclusive work environment. Red Lobster is committed to providing competitive wages, weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans starting at less than $10 weekly, life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits. They also offer a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching after one year, anniversary pay, discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount for employees dining as guests. Career growth is encouraged through training programs and opportunities for advancement, making Red Lobster an attractive employer in the hospitality industry.

The Busser/Runner role at Red Lobster is a dynamic and essential position within the restaurant team, intended for individuals who enjoy an active work environment with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork. As a Busser/Runner, you will be the first point of contact to welcome guests with a smile, set up your station for the shift, and ensure that tables are properly prepared with all necessary silverware and condiments. Your role includes refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables, running hot food from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, and providing support to servers as needed to maintain smooth service flow. You will be responsible for clearing and resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors to maintain a welcoming dining area, and communicating effectively with the team to ensure each table is ready for new guests. These duties require attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and adherence to all food safety and cleanliness standards.

This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely while remaining on your feet for 8 to 12-hour shifts. Team players with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills will thrive in this role. Red Lobster values inclusivity and equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. Being a part of the Red Lobster family means joining a company with BIG plans for the future—continuing to excel today while evolving to even greater success. If you seek a rewarding position in a supportive environment with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth, becoming a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster could be your ideal next career step.
