Founded with a vision to connect people to the coast through delicious seafood, the company has grown to operate over 500 restaurants nationwide. Red Lobster prides itself on being more than just a dining venue—it is a community hub where new friends become familiar faces, and guests enjoy their favorite meals in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is committed to exceptional hospitality and quality seafood dishes, reinforcing why it has become a beloved destination for guests across the country.

Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a larger family that values its employees and offers numerous benefits and career opportunities. With weekly pay and competitive wages, employees are supported financially from day one. Flexible scheduling allows team members to balance work with personal commitments, creating a healthier work-life balance. The company also offers affordable options for medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 per week, alongside life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits that provide peace of mind. After one year of service, employees can participate in a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match, helping them plan for the future. Additionally, eligible employees receive anniversary pay as a recognition of their loyalty and dedication. Team members enjoy discounted shift meals and a 25% discount when dining as guests, enhancing their experience both on and off the clock.

The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is integral to delivering a seamless dining experience for guests. This position involves welcoming every guest with genuine warmth and a smile, ensuring that all tables are properly set up with silverware and condiments before each shift. Responsibilities include refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables, and running hot food directly to guests promptly from the kitchen. The Busser/Runner supports servers by attending to guest needs as they arise and strictly adheres to all food safety and cleanliness standards to maintain the restaurant’s high hygiene standards. Additional duties include clearing dishes, resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, communicating table readiness to the team, and assisting with breaking down items in the dish area at the end of shifts.

Success in this position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that include bending, reaching, stooping, and safely lifting up to 30 pounds throughout an eight to twelve-hour shift. The ideal candidate is a team player with keen attention to detail and a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Meeting the minimum age requirement and being authorized to work in the country of application are also prerequisites. Red Lobster is committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities to support them in accomplishing essential job functions.

The future at Red Lobster looks bright with exciting plans underway to expand and enhance the dining experience further. Being part of this team means contributing to a vibrant workplace culture that fosters growth and advancement opportunities. Red Lobster is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, providing a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all employees regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
