The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is an essential position within the restaurant team responsible for ensuring guests receive timely and attentive service throughout their dining experience. This is a physically demanding role that involves frequent movement throughout the restaurant, including bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for long periods ranging from 8 to 12 hours per shift. Candidates must be capable of multitasking and have strong attention to detail to maintain cleanliness, adhere to food safety standards, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure tables are ready for incoming guests. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country of application
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Welcoming every guest into the restaurant with a smile
  • Setting up station for the shift
  • Ensuring silverware and condiments are on the table
  • Refilling drinks and pre-bussing
  • Running hot food to guests when ready
  • Providing guest support for servers as needed
  • Following all food safety and cleanliness standards
  • Clearing dishes from tables, resetting table, and cleaning seats and floors
  • Communicating table readiness
  • Breaking down items in the dish area
