Red Lobster emphasizes strong community ties and believes in turning new guests into familiar faces by delivering excellent food, service, and environment.
The company offers competitive wages with weekly pay and flexible scheduling options, making it an attractive workplace for individuals seeking both financial stability and work-life balance. Employee benefits include access to affordable medical, dental, and vision plans starting at under $10 per week, along with life insurance, short-term disability coverage, and a range of voluntary benefits. Red Lobster is also committed to supporting employees' futures through a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching available after one year of service. Additionally, eligible employees can receive anniversary pay, discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest.
The Busser/Runner role at Red Lobster plays a vital part in delivering excellent guest experiences by supporting the servers and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area. This position requires someone who greets guests warmly, helps set up and maintain the dining station, and efficiently handles tasks related to food running and table maintenance. Responsibilities include making sure silverware and condiments are properly set up on tables, refilling drinks, clearing dishes, resetting tables, and cleaning seats and floors. The Busser/Runner also communicates effectively with the kitchen and server staff to ensure a smooth dining service, following all food safety and cleanliness standards. By supporting the front-of-house operations, this role contributes significantly to the positive atmosphere and high standards that Red Lobster aims to uphold.
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to stand and move around for long shifts of 8 to 12 hours, safely lift items up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and stooping motions. The ideal candidate is attentive, detail-oriented, and a team player who can multitask effectively. Red Lobster values diversity and fosters an inclusive work environment where employees from all backgrounds feel welcome and supported.
