Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned restaurant chain that began with a simple vision to connect people to seafood and coastal experiences. Over the past fifty years, the company has grown to operate over 500 locations, each one committed to upholding the founding passion for quality food and exceptional guest experiences. Red Lobster is more than just a place to eat; it is a place where communities come together, friendships flourish, and memorable moments are created. The brand prides itself on being a cornerstone in the communities it serves, offering guests not only delicious meals but also warm and welcoming environments. Joining the Red Lobster family means becoming part of a legacy that values hard work, inclusivity, and continuous growth.

Red Lobster is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Bussers/Runners. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience by supporting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to overall guest satisfaction. As a Busser/Runner, you will play a critical role in welcoming guests, setting up your station for each shift, and ensuring that tables are ready and inviting. Your responsibilities will include managing silverware and condiments, refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables, and running hot food to guests promptly. You will also assist servers by providing guest support and maintaining all food safety and cleanliness standards. This fast-paced position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to multitask effectively while standing and moving throughout the restaurant during long shifts.

Working at Red Lobster is not only about great food and company but also about being part of an organization that values its employees. Employees have access to comprehensive benefits starting at less than $10 per week, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Red Lobster also provides life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits to ensure peace of mind for its staff. Additionally, the company offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match after one year of service, annual anniversary pay for eligible employees, and discounted shift meals along with a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Red Lobster is committed to career advancement by providing training and growth opportunities so employees can build fulfilling careers within the company.

The physical demands of the Busser/Runner role require individuals to be able to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds. Candidates should be capable of standing and moving throughout the dining area for shifts lasting between 8 to 12 hours. Being a team player who pays close attention to detail and can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial for success in this position. Red Lobster is an equal opportunity employer that fosters an inclusive work environment, welcoming applicants regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
