The Busser/Runner role is vital to maintaining the clean, organized, and efficient flow of the restaurant, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests. This position involves welcoming guests with a friendly smile, setting up stations for the shift, ensuring tables are properly equipped with silverware and condiments, and refilling drinks. The Busser/Runner supports servers by pre-bussing tables and running hot food from the kitchen to guests promptly. They are responsible for following all food safety and cleanliness standards, clearing and resetting tables, cleaning seating areas and floors, and communicating table readiness to the team. This role requires agility and endurance, as Busser/Runners must be able to move throughout the restaurant and remain standing for up to 12-hour shifts while performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 30 pounds safely.

Job Duties

  • Welcoming every guest into our restaurant with a smile
  • Setting up station for the shift
  • Ensuring silverware and condiments are on the table
  • Refilling drinks and pre-bussing
  • Running hot food to guests when ready in alley
  • Providing guest support for servers as needed
  • Following all food safety and cleanliness standards
  • Clearing dishes from tables resetting table and cleaning seats and floors
  • Communicating table readiness
  • Breaking down items in the dish area
