The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is an essential part of the dining experience, supporting both the guests and the serving staff. As a Busser/Runner, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests with a friendly smile, setting up your station at the beginning of the shift, ensuring tables are properly equipped with silverware and condiments, refilling drinks, and pre-bussing tables by clearing away used items. You will also run hot food from the kitchen to the guests promptly, assist servers with guest needs, and uphold all food safety and cleanliness standards. After guests have finished their meals, you will clear dishes, reset tables, clean seats and floors, and communicate table readiness to the serving team. You will also help break down items in the dish area. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Physical requirements for the job include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely. You must be able to move efficiently around the restaurant and remain standing for shifts that last between 8 to 12 hours.
