The Busser/Runner role at Red Lobster is a critical position that supports the smooth operation of the restaurant and enhances the guest experience. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement
  • authorized to work in the country applied for
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • able to move throughout the restaurant and remain standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • team player with attention to detail
  • ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is a plus
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
  • strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
  • knowledge of food safety and cleanliness standards
  • ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Welcoming every guest into the restaurant with a smile
  • setting up station for the shift
  • ensuring silverware and condiments are on the table
  • refilling drinks and pre-bussing
  • running hot food to guests when ready in alley
  • providing guest support for servers as needed
  • following all food safety and cleanliness standards
  • clearing dishes from tables, resetting table, and cleaning seats and floors
  • communicating table readiness
  • breaking down items in the dish area
