The role of Busser/Runner is vital to maintaining the smooth operation and exceptional service standards within the restaurant. As a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster, your responsibilities will include greeting guests with a warm smile, preparing your station for the shift, ensuring that tables are properly set with utensils and condiments, refilling beverages, and promptly clearing dishes and glassware. You will assist servers by delivering hot food to guests when it's ready and provide support wherever needed to enhance the guest experience. Adherence to safety and food sanitation standards is crucial, as you will be responsible for cleaning seats, floors, and resetting tables efficiently. This position requires the physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, reaching, stooping, and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds safely. Standing for extended periods of 8 to 12 hour shifts and working well in a fast-paced team environment with keen attention to detail and multitasking skills are essential.
