The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is essential to the smooth and efficient operation of the dining experience. As a Busser/Runner, you will be the friendly face greeting customers with a smile upon arrival, setting the tone for their visit. Your responsibilities include preparing your station for service before shifts begin, ensuring that tables are properly set with cutlery and condiments, refilling beverages, and clearing away used dishes and glassware. You will also be responsible for running hot food to guests as it becomes ready and assisting servers with customer needs. Maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness is critical, as you will clear tables, reset seating, and tidy floor areas throughout your shift. You will communicate table availability to team members and organize items in the dishwashing area to maintain order and efficiency.

This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely carry up to 30 pounds, and the capacity to stand for shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. Teamwork, attention to detail, and multitasking skills are important to thrive in this role. Red Lobster offers competitive weekly pay with rates ranging from $16.90 to $25.00 per hour, flexible scheduling to accommodate diverse employee needs, and comprehensive benefits starting at under $10 per week for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additionally, employees can access life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits to enhance their coverage. After one year of service, team members become eligible for a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions.
