Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned seafood restaurant chain with a rich history spanning over fifty years. From humble beginnings as a single family-owned establishment, Red Lobster has grown to a family of over 500 restaurants dedicated to providing guests with a genuine connection to seafood and the coastal experience. The company prides itself on being more than just a place to eat and work — it is an active part of the communities it serves, where new guests become familiar faces and employees find a welcoming and supportive environment. Committed to quality and hospitality, Red Lobster offers an inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy their favorite meals and create cherished moments with family and friends. The company embraces a culture of growth and opportunity, offering extensive training and career advancement possibilities to its team members. Their commitment to employee well-being is evident through competitive wages, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching after one year of service. Additionally, employees enjoy perks such as anniversary pay, discounted shift meals, and guest dining discounts, highlighting Red Lobster's dedication to recognizing and rewarding its workforce.

The role of a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is a vital position that ensures smooth and efficient dining experiences for guests. This full-time or part-time role involves welcoming guests with a friendly smile, setting up the station for each shift, and ensuring that tables are properly stocked with silverware and condiments. The Busser/Runner supports the serving team by refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables, and running hot food to guests promptly from the kitchen alley. This role requires keen attention to cleanliness and food safety standards, as the Busser/Runner is responsible for clearing dishes, resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, and maintaining an organized dish area. Effective communication with servers about table readiness is essential to maintain the flow of service. The physical demands of the role include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds safely, and remain on your feet for the duration of an 8 to 12-hour shift. Applicants must meet minimum age and work authorization requirements. Red Lobster values team players who can multi-task and pay attention to detail, traits essential to creating a seamless dining atmosphere. With big plans for the future and a dedication to equality and inclusivity, Red Lobster invites applicants to join a family-focused environment where they can grow and thrive.
