Job Description
Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned seafood restaurant brand that has been delighting guests for over fifty years with its dedication to fresh seafood and coastal culinary experiences. Originating from a vision to connect people to the coast through memorable meals, it has grown into a thriving network of over 500 restaurants. Each location serves as a welcoming place not only to enjoy food but also to build community connections. The company prides itself on being more than just a place to eat and work; it is where new friends become familiar faces and where the culture of hospitality and passion for quality food are deeply embedded.
At Red Lobster, employees enjoy a workplace that values their contributions and fosters growth through comprehensive training and career advancement opportunities. The restaurant offers competitive wages with weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and a variety of benefits to support employees' health and well-being. Health coverage options include medical, dental, and vision plans starting at affordable rates, along with life insurance and short-term disability options. Additionally, there is a voluntary benefits program that employees can opt into, enhancing their protection and peace of mind. Red Lobster supports its staff’s financial futures with a 401(k) retirement savings plan and company matching contributions after one year of service. Anniversary pay rewards long-term commitment, provided eligibility requirements are met. Employees also enjoy valued perks such as discounted shift meals and a 25% discount when dining as a guest.
The Busser/Runner position at Red Lobster plays an essential role in creating an exceptional dining experience. This role involves engaging warmly with guests, ensuring clean and well-set tables, and supporting servers by managing the flow of service smoothly. A Busser/Runner helps maintain the restaurant environment by clearing and resetting tables promptly and thoroughly, assisting with setting up stations for shifts, and running hot food to guests efficiently and with care. This job demands attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Following food safety and cleanliness standards is critical to ensuring the highest quality experience for guests.
Candidates for this role must be able to meet physical demands such as standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 30 pounds safely. The role requires mobility within the restaurant and is designed for team players who demonstrate dedication to service and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and colleagues. Red Lobster values equal opportunity and inclusion, welcoming all applicants regardless of age, race, color, religion, gender identity, disability status, or veteran status.
With plans for continued growth and improvement, Red Lobster invites passionate individuals to join their family and be part of a bright future where great food and great people come together. This is a compelling opportunity for those seeking a rewarding job in the restaurant industry with competitive pay ranging from $16.60 to $25.00 per hour and the chance to develop professionally in a vibrant and supportive environment.
