The Busser/Runner position at Red Lobster plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. This role involves welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor, preparing the dining area for service, and ensuring that every table is properly set with utensils and condiments. Those in this role assist servers by refilling beverages, clearing used dishes and glassware, and delivering hot food to guests promptly. Additional responsibilities include resetting tables and cleaning seats and floors to maintain a clean and pleasant environment. Bussers/Runners must adhere strictly to food safety and cleanliness standards and communicate effectively with the team to keep the dining room running seamlessly. This position requires physical stamina to stand during long shifts and perform tasks involving bending, reaching, and carrying up to 30 pounds safely.
