Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned seafood restaurant chain that has grown into a beloved dining destination with over 500 locations nationwide. Established over fifty years ago, the company has remained true to its founding passion of connecting people with the fresh flavors of the coast and providing memorable dining experiences. With a commitment to quality, community, and service, Red Lobster not only offers delicious meals but also fosters a warm and welcoming environment where guests feel like part of the family. The company prides itself on creating career opportunities and nurturing talent among its team members, ensuring they grow alongside the business.

Joining Red Lobster as a Busser/Runner means becoming a vital part of this vibrant restaurant family. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences from the moment patrons walk through the door. As a Busser/Runner, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that support the smooth operation of the dining room. The position offers flexible scheduling, competitive wages with weekly pay, and access to an attractive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at an affordable rate.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include greeting guests enthusiastically, setting up your station, ensuring that tables are properly stocked with silverware and condiments, and assisting servers by refilling drinks and clearing dishes promptly. You will also play a key role in food delivery by running hot dishes to guests and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area by resetting tables and cleaning seats and floors. Following food safety and cleanliness standards is essential to the role, as is effective communication about table readiness both with guests and your team.

This role is physically engaging and requires the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds, and remain on your feet for extended periods. It is ideal for team players who pay close attention to detail and can multitask in a dynamic environment. Red Lobster values inclusivity and equal employment opportunity, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds and committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

Looking ahead, Red Lobster is poised for even greater growth and success. Joining the team now means becoming part of a company with a promising future and a supportive culture that values each team member's contribution. This role offers not just a job but a pathway to career advancement within a respected and growing organization. Benefits such as a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, anniversary pay for eligible employees, discounted shift meals, and other voluntary benefits make this position attractive for those seeking both immediate rewards and long-term career development.
