In the role of Busser/Runner, you will be an essential part of the front-of-house team, ensuring guests have a welcoming and seamless dining experience. Your responsibilities will range from greeting guests with a smile to setting up your station and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of dining areas. You will assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing and resetting tables, and running hot food to guests promptly. Your role is critical in maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, which contributes to the overall guest satisfaction experience that Red Lobster is known for. Physical stamina and the ability to work as a team player are crucial, as the role requires moving about the restaurant, standing for long shifts, and handling tasks that include lifting up to 30 pounds safely. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8-12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow food safety and cleanliness standards

Job Duties

  • Welcoming every guest into our restaurant with a smile
  • Setting up station for the shift
  • Ensuring silverware and condiments are on the table
  • Refilling drinks and pre-bussing
  • Running hot food to guests when ready in alley
  • Providing guest support for servers as needed
  • Following all food safety and cleanliness standards
  • Clearing dishes from tables, resetting table, and cleaning seats and floors
  • Communicating table readiness
  • Breaking down items in the dish area
