As part of the Red Lobster team, a Busser/Runner plays a crucial role in maintaining seamless operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. This part-time position involves responsibilities such as welcoming customers with a smile, preparing the station for service, ensuring tables are set with utensils and condiments, and assisting waitstaff whenever necessary. The role also requires clearing and resetting tables, replenishing beverages, and safely delivering food to the dining area. Job Requirements

  • Meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking capability

Job Duties

  • Receive each customer in the restaurant with a smile
  • Prepare the station for the shift
  • Ensure utensils and condiments are on the table
  • Refill drinks and remove used dishes and glassware
  • Deliver hot food to customers when ready in the hallway
  • Provide help to servers with customers as needed
  • Follow all food safety and cleanliness regulations
  • Clear plates from tables, reset tables, and clean seats and floors
  • Communicate table availability
  • Sort items in the dishwashing area
