Job Description
Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned restaurant chain that has been serving seafood lovers for over fifty years. With more than 500 restaurants, Red Lobster has established itself as a beloved destination where guests enjoy memorable meals and moments. The company remains deeply connected to the communities it serves, providing not just dining experiences but also a welcoming environment where new friends can feel like familiar faces. This long-standing commitment to quality and community fosters a warm and inclusive workplace culture for employees and guests alike.
Red Lobster is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Bussers/Runners. This role is integral to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests by maintaining cleanliness, supporting servers, and delivering prompt service. The position offers competitive wages ranging from $16.90 to $25.00 per hour, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling to accommodate various lifestyles. Employees also benefit from options for medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 per week, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match after one year of service. Additional perks include anniversary pay for eligible employees, discounted shift meals, a 25% discount when dining as a guest, and numerous career development opportunities through comprehensive training.
As a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster, you are the first point of contact for guests, greeting them with a friendly smile and ensuring that their dining environment is clean, orderly, and inviting. Responsibilities include setting up the station at the beginning of shifts, restocking tables with silverware and condiments, refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables to maintain cleanliness, delivering hot food efficiently, and assisting servers to enhance guest satisfaction. Adhering to all food safety and cleanliness standards is paramount in this role, along with effective communication to manage table readiness and dish area organization.
The position demands physical stamina, requiring employees to stand for 8 to 12 hours, bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds. Being a team player with excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities is essential to excel in this dynamic environment. Red Lobster prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, fostering diversity and inclusivity across all its teams. Employees with disabilities are supported with reasonable accommodations to perform their duties effectively.
Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a family that values growth, community, and a passion for seafood and exceptional service. With big plans ahead, this is an exciting time to embark on a rewarding career path within a company that invests in its people and the communities they serve.
