We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join our team as Bussers/Runners on a part-time basis. In this role, employees are expected to greet customers warmly, prepare their stations for shifts, ensure tables are always well-stocked with utensils and condiments, and assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area. This role is crucial in supporting waitstaff by delivering hot food to customers, refilling beverages, and removing used dishes and glassware. Bussers/Runners are responsible for setting tables, clearing dishes, wiping down seats and floors, and communicating table availability to optimize seating efficiency. Following all food safety and hygiene protocols is essential. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to bend, reach, squat, lift up to 30 pounds safely, and stand for long periods during shifts that can last between 8 to 12 hours. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, and safely carry up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is a plus but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene procedures
  • Demonstrated customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Greet each customer in the restaurant with a smile
  • Prepare the station for the shift
  • Ensure utensils and condiments are on the table
  • Refill drinks and clear used dishes and glassware
  • Deliver hot food to customers when ready in the hallway
  • Provide assistance to servers with customers as needed
  • Follow all food safety and cleanliness rules
  • Clear dishes from tables, reset tables, and clean seats and floors
  • Communicate table availability
  • Separate items in the dishwashing area
