Red Lobster is a well-established family-owned seafood restaurant chain with over fifty years of history, offering guests a unique connection to seafood and the coastal experience. From a single family-owned restaurant, the company has grown to over 500 locations, creating a warm, community-focused dining atmosphere where guests come not only for meals but to create memorable moments with friends and family. Red Lobster prides itself on its commitment to quality service, fresh seafood, and the rich heritage that reflects the coastal traditions of dining. The company deeply values its team members and recognizes them as an essential part of its success and growth.
Working as a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of this renowned family that emphasizes both guest satisfaction and employee development. This role involves supporting servers and ensuring a smooth flow of service by maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of dining areas. Candidates will be joining a workplace that offers weekly pay, competitive wages, and flexible scheduling to accommodate various lifestyles. Options for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance are available, often starting at less than $10 per week, offering affordable health benefits. Additional benefits include life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match after one year of service. The company also provides anniversary pay to eligible employees, discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest.
At Red Lobster, career growth and advancement are highly encouraged. The company invests in training programs designed to develop team members' skills and open doors for upward mobility within the organization. As part of the Busser/Runner role, employees will engage directly with guests, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable, and contribute to the overall positive dining experience. This position requires candidates who are team players, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Physical stamina is essential as the role involves standing for long periods and safely lifting up to 30 pounds.
Red Lobster is expanding and innovating, with big plans shaping its future, making it an excellent time to join the company. The team environment fosters a sense of belonging, where new friends turn into familiar faces, and everyone is committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive workplace.
