As a Busser/Runner, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting every guest with a smile, preparing your station for each shift, and ensuring tables are properly set with cutlery and condiments. You will assist in refilling drinks, clearing used dishes and glassware, and delivering hot food to diners promptly when it is ready from the kitchen. Supporting servers with customer needs and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards are also key parts of the job. You will clear and reset tables efficiently, clean seating areas and floors, and communicate table availability to the team. Additionally, separating items in the dishwashing area will be part of your duties to ensure smooth operations.

Physical demands for the job include the ability to bend, reach, crouch, and lift up to 30 pounds safely. You must be able to stand for 8 to 12 hours during your shift and work effectively in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities. Job Duties

  • Greet each guest at our restaurant with a smile
  • Prepare the station for the shift
  • Ensure silverware and condiments are on the table
  • Refill beverages and remove used dishes and glassware
  • Deliver hot food to guests when ready in the pass-thru
  • Provide help to servers with guests as needed
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Clear plates from tables, reset tables, and clean seats and floors
  • Communicate table availability
  • Sort items in the dishwashing area
