The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is a vital position that supports both the front-of-house operations and overall guest experience. This is a part-time opportunity with a competitive pay range between $16.00 and $25.00 per hour. As a Busser/Runner, the individual will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests, preparing workstations for shifts, ensuring tables are properly set with silverware and condiments, and assisting servers by refilling drinks, clearing tables, and running food orders to guests. This role requires adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards, timely communication about table readiness, and maintaining the cleanliness of seating and floor areas. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are essential qualities for success in this role. Physical demands include the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds safely.

Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Welcoming every guest into our restaurant with a smile
  • Setting up station for the shift
  • Ensuring silverware and condiments are on the table
  • Refilling drinks and pre-bussing
  • Running hot food to guests when ready in alley
  • Providing guest support for Servers as needed
  • Following all food safety and cleanliness standards
  • Clearing dishes from tables, resetting table, and cleaning seats and floors
  • Communicating table readiness
  • Breaking down items in the dish area
