Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • some experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • weekend availability (Friday - Sunday)
  • TB clearance required for employment

Job Qualifications

  • some experience as a busser, food runner or server
  • some experience in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant environment
  • personable and able to get along well with others
  • strong team player
  • availability on weekends (Friday - Sunday)

Job Duties

  • assist in preparing the restaurant for service by setting up sections and ensure the dining room is neat and tidy at all times
  • assist service team by pre-bussing and bussing tables during service and resetting tables and chairs after guests leave
  • deliver food and drink items to guests efficiently and within appropriate time limits
  • keep the service station stocked with glassware, share plates, roll-ups, sauces, to-go supplies, straws, napkins, etc
  • ensure compliance with MBCR's responsible alcohol service guidelines and local liquor laws
  • support the FOH team with various tasks like folding napkins, bussing tables, maintaining dining and bathroom areas
  • follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines
