As a Busser/Runner, you will be responsible for setting up your station at the beginning of your shift, ensuring tables are properly set with condiments and utensils, refilling beverages, and removing used dishes promptly. You will work closely with servers by delivering food from the kitchen to the dining tables and assisting with customer needs as they arise. Maintaining compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards is crucial in this role to provide a safe and pleasant environment for guests. Additionally, you will be tasked with communicating table availability, clearing and resetting tables, and cleaning seats and floors to keep the restaurant running efficiently.
Physically, the role requires standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and safely lifting up to 30 pounds. Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking capability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is a plus

Job Duties
- Receive each customer in our restaurant with a smile
- Prepare the station for the shift
- Ensure utensils and condiments are on the table
- Refill beverages and remove used dishes and glassware
- Carry hot food to customers when ready in the hallway
- Provide assistance to servers with customers as needed
- Follow all food safety and cleanliness standards
- Clear dishes from tables, reset tables, and clean seats and floors
- Communicate table availability
- Separate items in the dishwashing area
