Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned seafood restaurant chain that began as a family-owned establishment with a vision to offer people a unique connection to seafood and the coast. With more than fifty years of industry presence and over 500 restaurant locations, Red Lobster has built a reputation for providing memorable dining experiences centered around quality seafood and warm hospitality. The company is deeply rooted in community values, striving to create environments where customers not only enjoy their meals but also feel a sense of belonging. This extensive experience and dedication to customer service have allowed Red Lobster to become a preferred dining destination for seafood lovers across many regions.

Working as a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster means joining a dedicated team that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and enhancing the overall dining experience for guests. This role involves greeting customers with a friendly smile, preparing the dining station before shifts, ensuring tables are set correctly with all necessary condiments and silverware, and supporting the waitstaff by refilling drinks and clearing dishes promptly. Runners assist by delivering food to guests directly from the kitchen and help maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area by clearing tables, resetting seats, and keeping floors clean. The position requires adherence to food safety and hygiene standards and a consistent ability to communicate table availability with efficiency. This role is both physically active and fast-paced, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy teamwork, attention to detail, and customer service.

Additionally, the company offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $17.13 to $25.00 per hour along with weekly pay, emphasizing flexibility with work schedules to accommodate various employee needs. Red Lobster fosters employee growth by providing comprehensive training programs and clear career path opportunities. The company is committed to supporting staff with valuable benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting at less than $10 per week, life and short-term disability insurance, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions after one year of service. Employees also enjoy anniversary bonuses, discounted meals during shifts, plus a 25 percent discount when dining as guests.

Red Lobster is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, passionate about fostering an inclusive and welcoming work environment free from discrimination based on age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status. The company also recognizes the physical demands of the Busser/Runner position and offers reasonable accommodations to enable all qualified candidates, including those with disabilities, to perform essential job functions successfully.

Overall, joining Red Lobster as a Busser/Runner provides an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a rewarding and dynamic role in the hospitality industry with strong support for career development, comprehensive benefits, and a positive team-oriented culture.
