Red Lobster is currently seeking Busser/Runners to join its dynamic team. This full-time role offers weekly pay and competitive wages, along with flexible scheduling to accommodate various lifestyles and needs. As a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster, you will play a vital role in ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, preparing your station for each shift, and ensuring that tables are properly set with silverware, condiments, and clean linens. You will assist servers by refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables, and promptly running hot food items to guests. Maintaining cleanliness and abiding by all food safety standards is critical, so you will also be responsible for clearing dishes, resetting tables, and cleaning seats and floors. Effective communication is essential to keep table readiness status updated and support a smooth flow of service. Physical stamina is required as the job demands standing and moving about the restaurant for extended periods, as well as lifting up to 30 pounds safely. The ability to multitask and work well as part of a team is essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the country
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 to 12 hour shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred

  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
