The company prides itself on creating warm, welcoming environments where new friends become familiar faces, setting the table for memorable meals and moments. Red Lobster is committed to growth, opportunity, and providing their employees with a supportive work environment that encourages career advancement and personal development. The company's legacy is built on passion, quality, and community engagement, making it a trusted name in seafood dining.
The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is a vital position within the restaurant team, directly impacting guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position offers competitive wages, weekly pay, and flexible scheduling options to accommodate different lifestyles. The role is designed for energetic individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy delivering exceptional customer service. In addition to the competitive compensation, employees have access to affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting at less than $10 per week, along with life insurance, short-term disability, and a variety of voluntary benefits. Red Lobster also invests in its team members’ futures through a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching after one year of service.
Working as a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster means you will be a critical support to the front-of-house team, ensuring guests are greeted warmly, their tables are properly set and maintained, and that all food delivery and clearing operations run smoothly. This role demands attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively, and physical stamina to move about the restaurant, lift up to 30 pounds safely, and stand for extended periods during 8 to 12-hour shifts. Red Lobster’s commitment to employee welfare is evident in their policies which provide reasonable accommodations for employees with disabilities, fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace for everyone.
Alongside day-to-day responsibilities, Red Lobster encourages career advancement through training and development programs, allowing team members to grow within the company. Employees also enjoy additional perks such as discounted shift meals, a 25% discount when dining as a guest, and anniversary pay for eligible staff. The position offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-looking company that values tradition while continually pursuing excellence and innovation. Red Lobster’s dedication to inclusion and equal opportunity employment ensures a welcoming environment where diversity is celebrated and all employees can thrive. If you are passionate about seafood, hospitality, and being part of a vibrant community, then the Busser/Runner position at Red Lobster could be an excellent fit for you.
