The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of each restaurant while enhancing the guest experience. Busser/Runners are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining area, supporting servers, and providing timely and courteous service to guests. This part-time position offers competitive wages with weekly pay and flexible scheduling designed to accommodate various lifestyles and availability.

As a Busser/Runner, you will be a key team member responsible for welcoming guests with a smile, setting up stations for each shift, ensuring tables are properly equipped with silverware and condiments, refilling drinks, and pre-bussing to prepare tables for the next guests. You will run hot food from the kitchen to the dining area, assist servers as needed, maintain food safety and cleanliness standards, clear and reset tables, and keep the dining area presentable by cleaning seats and floors. Effective communication with the team about table status is essential to keep the dining room running smoothly.

Physically, the role demands stamina, teamwork, and attention to detail. You must be able to lift up to 30 pounds safely, move effectively throughout the restaurant, and remain on your feet for long shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
