In addition to maintaining cleanliness, the Dishwasher assists in stocking supplies, disposing of trash properly, and checking restroom cleanliness and stock regularly. This role requires physical stamina as the employee will stand, walk frequently, lift heavy items up to 100 pounds occasionally, and perform a variety of cleaning tasks throughout their shift.

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of IHOP training coursework as assigned

Job Duties

  • Clear and reset tables and clean dining area and tables
  • Wash dishes, pots, utensils, silverware, and glassware following Standard Operating Procedures
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests
  • Unload, unbox, rotate, and store food, equipment, and supplies as necessary
  • Stock and rotate all needed supplies in service areas and dining room
  • Dispose of all trash properly
  • Check restrooms hourly to ensure cleanliness and proper stocking
  • Perform all cleaning duties according to posted cleaning charts
  • Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards
  • Perform other assignments as directed by management
