Job Requirements

No prior experience required
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to understand oral instructions in English and read English or Spanish
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-step or two-step instructions
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally

Completion of IHOP training coursework as assigned

Job Duties

Clear and reset tables and clean dining area and tables
Wash dishes, pots, utensils, silverware, and glassware following Standard Operating Procedures
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests
Unload, unbox, rotate, and store food, equipment, and supplies as necessary
Stock and rotate all needed supplies in service areas and dining room
Dispose of all trash properly
Check restrooms hourly to ensure cleanliness and proper stocking
Perform all cleaning duties according to posted cleaning charts
Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards
Perform other assignments as directed by management
