Job Description

Yard House is a well-established restaurant chain known for its extensive beer selection and vibrant dining atmosphere. With over 100 beers on tap, Yard House offers an extraordinary variety of food, drinks, and experiences to its diverse and energetic clientele. The company prides itself on fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment where employees are encouraged to be fully engaged, passionate, and supportive of one another. As a part of the Yard House family, team members share a commitment to delivering excellent service, embracing diversity, and celebrating the unique vibe that makes every visit memorable. Offering competitive pay, flexible work schedules, and opportunities for growth and development, Yard House is an excellent place for those looking to build a career in hospitality while being part of a lively and welcoming team.

The Busser/Barback role at Yard House is essential in supporting the servers and bartenders to ensure that all service areas—including the dining room, bar, and lobby—are clean, well-stocked, and inviting. Busser/Barbacks play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the bar and dining environment by clearing bar tops, sanitizing barware, and restocking glassware and plateware. They are also responsible for changing out kegs as needed to keep beers fresh on tap. This position requires a proactive, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys contributing to a high-energy team culture. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, dedication, and teamwork to every shift, embodying Yard House's house rules: bringing the vibe, being all in, having heart, and celebrating variety. Compensation for this position starts at $16.90 per hour plus tips, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking hourly wage with additional income potential. Benefits include competitive pay, sick pay, health and well-being benefits, flexible schedules, and career advancement opportunities, all contributing to a supportive and rewarding work environment.
