This job opening is for the role of Busser and Barback at a vibrant restaurant setting where maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient environment is essential to the overall guest experience. The establishment is committed to providing exceptional dining and beverage services, and this dual role plays a critical part in upholding that standard.
As a restaurant that values teamwork, attention to detail, and a smooth workflow, this position requires individuals who are flexible and willing to perform duties that support both dining room and bar operations. The busser and barback share interchangeable responsibilities throughout each shift, ensuring that the restaurant stays clean, welcoming, and ready to serve customers efficiently throughout the day and night.
The Busser and Barback role is essential in creating an inviting atmosphere by focusing on the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. This includes setting and clearing tables promptly to ensure guests always have a tidy and comfortable environment. Employees in this position will remove used plates, glassware, cutlery, and napkins from tables efficiently, helping maintain a seamless dining experience.
Additional duties involve maintaining floor cleanliness by sweeping and mopping up any spills or food stains to uphold safety and sanitation standards put forth by the restaurant. Not only are guest tables closely monitored for cleanliness, but the Busser Station is also kept in top condition throughout the shift. Maintaining a clean and organized bar space is crucial, and the individual will be expected to wipe down the bar top regularly and keep the entire bar area stocked with all necessary items to support efficient drink service.
This position is perfect for individuals looking for a dynamic team role in a fast-paced hospitality environment, offering an excellent opportunity to gain broader experience in both front-of-house and beverage operations.
