Job Duties
- prepare and set dining areas according to floor plan and service standards
- polish glassware, cutlery, and service ware to ensure readiness for service
- stock and organize side stations, linen, and service areas
- assist in the setup and breakdown of special events and private functions
- ensure all tables are correctly marked and chairs aligned before service
- maintain a constant floor presence, attentive to guest and server needs
- clear and reset tables promptly and quietly between courses or seatings
- refill water and bread service as needed, ensuring proper presentation
- support servers by running food, delivering condiments, and resetting tables efficiently
- assist in maintaining cleanliness of the dining room, including glass polishing, sweeping, and wiping surfaces
- communicate effectively with captains, servers, and management to maintain flow and timing of service
- assist in clearing, cleaning, and resetting the dining room for the next shift or event
- restock side stations and polish items as needed
- support event turnover and breakdowns, including moving tables, chairs, and service equipment
- follow closing checklist
