Job Requirements
- Current New Mexico food handler certification required
- ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more
- must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30 plus pounds frequently
- excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask
- 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience
- high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent experience/training

Job Duties
- Work under direction of restaurant manager or assistant manager
- communicate daily with kitchen leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe
- maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times
- maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of dining area
- maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing utensils, and being alert to beverage needs
- prepare dining outlets for service, checking service stations and tables to ensure correct set-up and cleanliness
- resolve issues for any approaching guests in a professional and timely manner
- answer the phone and assist with guest seating, serving food or non-alcoholic drinks as requested
- handle all checks and cash according to procedures stipulated
- roll silverware, set up food stations or dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties
- other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property
