Job Requirements
- Minimum one year experience in food and beverage
- Possession of current food handlers card
- Ability to communicate effectively in the primary workplace language
- Physical ability to stand for up to four hours and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to regular attendance and adherence to company standards
- Compliance with all hotel rules and regulations
Job Qualifications
- One plus years experience in food and beverage
- Experience in bussing at a restaurant of similar size and quality preferred
- Current food handlers card
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic computational ability
- Ability to speak and understand the workplace language
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Clean, set and re-set tables continuously, assuming responsibility for station, tables and side duties
- Serve water, coffee, beverages, and greet guests by name whenever possible during meal service
- Stack trays properly for efficient unloading for stewarding and ensure safety standards
- Perform set up duties including side stations, storage areas and food staging area
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
- Fold napkins for meal periods to maintain adequate supply
- Perform other duties such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests
