The Janitor/Busser position is essential in upholding these standards by ensuring the restaurant is clean, sanitized, and organized at all times. The Janitor/Busser at Twin Peaks carries the critical responsibility of cleaning and maintaining the restaurant environment. This role demands a strong adherence to uniform standards and restaurant policies, ensuring that all areas meet the stringent cleanliness and safety requirements. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced setting, work collaboratively with team members, and maintain high standards of sanitation and safety. This includes keeping work stations and equipment orderly and clean, following safety and sanitation guidelines, and training on tablet or computer systems.

Wearing the proper uniform is fundamental to this role, including a clean Twin Peaks black hat worn facing forward, maintaining proper grooming such as clean-shaven or well-maintained facial hair, trimmed fingernails, and refraining from wearing jewelry or headphones while on duty. These standards contribute to the professional image and hygiene necessary in the restaurant. The position also involves compliance with regional health standards, safety protocols, and other management directives to ensure efficient operation and customer satisfaction.

This full-time or part-time employment opportunity offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering a top-quality dining experience. Applicants are expected to complete the training program successfully before working independently and to participate in any additional required training related to food and alcohol service certifications. The role also includes the physical demands of standing, walking, reaching, and sometimes lifting up to 15 pounds, with exposure to kitchen fumes, wet or humid conditions, and potentially toxic cleaning chemicals. Job Requirements

  • Clean TP black hat facing forward at all times
  • brim never bent
  • hair must be kept clean
  • all hair must be kept underneath the TP hat
  • clean shaven or beards and mustaches allowed but must be maintained
  • fingernails must be kept trimmed
  • jewelry is not allowed to be worn in ears, face, around the neck or wrists
  • headphones or earbuds are not to be worn
  • clean non-faded/ wrinkled TP kitchen shirt tucked in
  • proven experience as a janitor busser
  • ability to communicate in English
  • ability to understand restaurant cleaning and sanitizing policies and procedures
  • ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple instructions
  • ability to work in a team
  • able to work in a fast paced environment
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • must attend all required trainings including orientation and certifications

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a janitor busser
  • ability to communicate in English
  • ability to understand the policies and procedures used to clean and sanitize a restaurant
  • ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
  • ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Twin Peaks training
  • must attend and successfully complete the training program prior to working a shift without supervision
  • must successfully attend and complete any and all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations such as food and/or alcohol service certifications
