The hotel has built a strong reputation for its commitment to delivering top-tier guest experiences, making it a premier destination for travelers and locals alike.
Working at The Peninsula Beverly Hills means becoming part of a diverse multi-outlet property where each department collaborates to uphold the standards of luxury and impeccable service. The Food and Beverage Management Team plays a crucial role in this mission, offering guests fine dining options through establishments such as The Belvedere. This venue is known for its refined atmosphere, exceptional cuisine, and attentive service, making it an essential component of the hotel’s distinguished hospitality offerings.
The role of Busser at The Belvedere is crafted for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a genuine warmth that enhances the guest experience. As a Busser, you will work closely with the Food and Beverage Management Team to ensure smooth operations within the dining area. This involves preparing tables by cleaning and setting them with necessary items like condiments, napkins, service plates, and utensils, creating an inviting and comfortable space for patrons.
You will support wait staff by maintaining condiment stands, trash container liners, and bus stations, ensuring everything is replenished and organized throughout service. At the end of each shift, you will contribute to closing the dining area by cleaning tables and chairs, sweeping or vacuuming floors, and responsibly disposing of trash and recyclables. This role is vital to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that guests expect from a luxury establishment.
The Peninsula Beverly Hills values team members who are friendly, approachable, and able to establish great connections with colleagues and guests alike. Busser candidates should have experience in luxury hotels or similarly upscale environments, reflecting an understanding of the specific demands and standards of luxury service. An open and flexible schedule is necessary due to the nature of hospitality work, with weekend and holiday availability required.
In addition to the rewarding environment and the opportunity to grow within a prestigious property, The Peninsula Beverly Hills offers an exceptional benefits package. This includes 100 percent company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, complimentary employee meals, onsite car and bicycle parking, bus transit reimbursement, complimentary uniform laundering, discounted and complimentary room nights at Peninsula Hotels, a 50 percent restaurant discount, and a retirement plan with a 4 percent company match.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.15, highlighting the hotel's commitment to providing competitive compensation. Joining The Peninsula Beverly Hills means becoming part of a team dedicated to delivering extraordinary hospitality and exceptional guest experiences every day.
