Job Description

Tavernonna is a vibrant Italian restaurant known for blending authentic Italian comfort food with a lively and social atmosphere. Located within a dynamic hospitality setting, Tavernonna invites guests to gather, linger, and enjoy a memorable dining experience where the energy of the room complements the delicious flavors on the table. The restaurant emphasizes guest care and attentiveness, offering an environment that is both inviting and energetic, perfect for social outings or casual dining. Managed by Arbor Lodging, a prominent hotel investment and management company with a growing portfolio across the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean, Tavernonna benefits from a culture deeply rooted in hospitality and people-first values. Arbor Lodging partners with renowned brands including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG, further cementing its status as a leader in the hospitality industry. Their management style fosters a collaborative, supportive workplace atmosphere encouraging growth and professional development.

The Busser role at Tavernonna is a key position integral to the overall guest experience. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in ensuring smooth and efficient service flow. As a Busser, you will support the servers by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining room and service areas. Your responsibilities will include clearing and resetting tables quickly, restocking supplies, and assisting with guest needs such as delivering water or shared dishes. You will play an essential role during peak service times by supporting quick table turnovers and effectively communicating with servers and hosts about table statuses. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the physical stamina to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Availability for morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is expected to keep the service running smoothly. In addition to providing immediate support to the restaurant team, the Busser position offers opportunities to learn and grow within a dynamic hospitality environment. Tavernonna and Arbor Lodging uphold guiding principles that value integrity, kindness, accountability, ambition, and diversity, creating a workplace culture where employees are encouraged to excel and feel valued. Working at Tavernonna means being part of a passionate, guest-focused team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a setting that feels like a community hub rather than just a restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to build a career in hospitality with a reputable and supportive company.
