Job Description

BRG is a distinguished restaurant known for its vibrant ambiance and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience. As a hospitality establishment, BRG prides itself on blending high-quality service with a welcoming environment where guests can enjoy delicious meals and attentive care. The team at BRG works collaboratively to ensure that every aspect of the dining experience—from the ambiance to the food presentation—is meticulously managed for guest satisfaction. At the core of BRG’s operational philosophy is a dedication to teamwork, professionalism, and maintaining a spotless, well-organized venue that reflects the high standards expected by their clientele.

The role of Busser at BRG is an essential position within the restaurant’s service team. This position is focused on keeping the restaurant clean and orderly by efficiently clearing and resetting tables throughout the service periods. As a Busser, you will support the front-of-house staff, including servers and hosts, by performing tasks that contribute directly to the smooth flow of restaurant operations. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring all stations remain tidy and fully stocked, which is crucial for facilitating a seamless guest experience. Success in this role requires a strong passion for teamwork, attention to detail, excellent communication, and time management skills.

In this role, you will become knowledgeable about the menu to effectively assist guests and respond to their inquiries, adding to the overall quality of service. Daily tasks range from bussing and sanitizing tables, polishing glassware and silverware, helping carry food and drinks, to completing the cleaning and set-up processes required before opening and after closing shifts. Additionally, the Busser position at BRG requires adherence to all company standards, including uniform appearance and state liquor laws like maintaining a Louisiana Responsible Vendor’s Permit. The job demands physical endurance, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a dynamic restaurant environment.

BRG Busser position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team-oriented restaurant that values efficiency and a positive work environment. Employees are expected to maintain professionalism, respect guests and coworkers, and contribute actively to the restaurant’s clean and organized atmosphere. Being punctual, reliable, and proactive in your duties will help you thrive in this fast-paced role. While experience in a similar role is preferred, BRG also emphasizes the importance of a positive attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt as key to success. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to grow their skill set within a reputable dining establishment.
