Job Requirements
- Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- high school education or equivalent
- a minimum of two months of on-the-job training or related experience
- food service handler card and TABC certification that is current and valid for a minimum of at least 6 months
- ability to work a flexible schedule
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
- a team player with good communication skills
- patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
Job Duties
- Ensure that items are fully stocked and equipment is in good working condition
- strong knowledge and consistent use of SNHD regulations and standards
- work cooperatively and effectively in a team
- consistently maintain clean and safe work area for self and other team members
- participate in seamless operation between back-of-house and front-of-house staff ensuring proper service to guests
- perform to high standards of excellence, execution, and cleanliness
- always keep active SNHD Food Handler's card while on property
- execute proper health and safety protocols while operating equipment, handling food, storing food, maintaining temperature and time control logs, and sanitizing as dictated by SNHD
- report health and safety incidents and concerns directly to leadership in an accurate and timely manner
- contribute to successful SNHD health inspections
- monitor and ensure cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats, and floor
- perform customer service duties as assigned such as beverage and plate service
- communicate with cashier and servers for needs and any guest service issues
- actively participate in all scheduled required training sessions
- other duties as assigned
