Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED unless waived by human resources management
- six months of food and beverage work experience preferred
- ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
- ability to pass background investigation
- ability to obtain and maintain gaming license
- ability to stand and walk regularly
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
- ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to work in noisy, smoky, hot and cold environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- six months of food and beverage work experience preferred
- knowledge or ability to learn restaurant operations and food service principles
- knowledge or ability to learn kitchen equipment and utensils maintenance operations
- knowledge or ability to learn safe practices in a kitchen-working environment
- ability to create a friendly atmosphere and demonstrate excellent customer service
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
- ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with co-workers at all levels
- ability to work independently and meet strict timelines
- ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written and oral form
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Pre-busses, clears and resets tables ensuring all chairs, floors, and work areas are clean and presentable at all times
- carries dirty dishes from the restaurant to the kitchen
- wipes tabletops and chairs with damp sanitized cloth
- sets tables with silverware and glassware and required napkins
- replenishes supply of clean napkins, silverware, glassware and dishes in restaurant
- refills water glasses, coffee, iced tea, and bread in a timely manner as requested by customers
- greets guests in a professional and friendly manner
- performs all side work duties as assigned or requested by supervisor and/or performs the duties of a food runner to assist the wait staff
- attends and participates in departmental meetings
- responds to customer inquiries and comments by providing timely and knowledgeable information
- reports any maintenance or housekeeping discrepancies to management
- exhibits a professional appearance and maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor
- follows guidelines regarding health, safety and customer service
- assists servers and bartenders when necessary
- changes kegs when necessary under direction
- carefully and properly stacks trays
- provides prompt courteous guest service following casino guest service standards
- maintains smile and pleasant body language
- performs other duties as required
