Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED unless waived by human resources management
six months of food and beverage work experience preferred
ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
ability to pass background investigation
ability to obtain and maintain gaming license
ability to stand and walk regularly
ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
ability to work in noisy, smoky, hot and cold environments

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
six months of food and beverage work experience preferred
knowledge or ability to learn restaurant operations and food service principles
knowledge or ability to learn kitchen equipment and utensils maintenance operations
knowledge or ability to learn safe practices in a kitchen-working environment
ability to create a friendly atmosphere and demonstrate excellent customer service
ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with co-workers at all levels
ability to work independently and meet strict timelines
ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written and oral form
positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Duties

Pre-busses, clears and resets tables ensuring all chairs, floors, and work areas are clean and presentable at all times
carries dirty dishes from the restaurant to the kitchen
wipes tabletops and chairs with damp sanitized cloth
sets tables with silverware and glassware and required napkins
replenishes supply of clean napkins, silverware, glassware and dishes in restaurant
refills water glasses, coffee, iced tea, and bread in a timely manner as requested by customers
greets guests in a professional and friendly manner
performs all side work duties as assigned or requested by supervisor and/or performs the duties of a food runner to assist the wait staff
attends and participates in departmental meetings
responds to customer inquiries and comments by providing timely and knowledgeable information
reports any maintenance or housekeeping discrepancies to management
exhibits a professional appearance and maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor
follows guidelines regarding health, safety and customer service
assists servers and bartenders when necessary
changes kegs when necessary under direction
carefully and properly stacks trays
provides prompt courteous guest service following casino guest service standards
maintains smile and pleasant body language
performs other duties as required
