Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- one year food service experience preferred
- ability to work in an alcohol and smoking environment
- ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or other regulatory entities
- ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift
- ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying items up to 50 pounds
- ability to push bus cart and carry trash/linen bags up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- one year food service experience preferred
- knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food
- ability to use cash register, credit card machine, point of sale machine, and restaurant bar equipment
- good communication skills
- knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations and personal protective equipment
- ability to read and understand simple instructions
Job Duties
- Stock wait stations, bar and host stand
- bring ice as needed
- clear tables of dirty dishes, linen, silverware and transport to kitchen via bus cart
- assist host and hostesses to seat patrons
- reset tables after they have been cleared
- perform other duties as assigned
