The role of Busser/Porter is versatile and essential to the daily success of the restaurant. As a Busser, the individual will be responsible for clearing and resetting tables swiftly and efficiently, assisting servers by replenishing water, silverware, and attending to guest needs, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining areas. Additionally, they will restock service stations to ensure all necessary items are readily available. As a Porter, the duties expand to include maintaining cleanliness throughout the entire premise including restrooms, kitchens, and common areas. This includes taking out trash and recycling and performing light maintenance tasks when required. The dual nature of this position requires someone who is hardworking, reliable, and positive, with a strong team-oriented mindset. Additionally, the ability to work on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds is necessary to perform these physically active duties effectively.
