Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 17 years
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in bussing or similar restaurant roles advantageous
- able to work as part of a team
- strong attention to detail
- basic knowledge of restaurant sanitation and safety standards
- friendly and customer-oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Clear away dishes from guests
- wipe down tabletops and chairs and re-set tabletops with place settings
- inspect and clean carpet and other flooring when debris or liquid is detected
- respond to guests questions and make recommendations as appropriate
- set up and maintain side work including setting up tables at the beginning or end of shift
- carry trays back to dishwasher and unload and wipe trays clean
- scrape and stack dishes
- return dirty dishes and silverware to dishwashing area
- stock stations with roll ups and place mats
- check restrooms for cleanliness
- respond to any guests additional requests and assist servers with their tables
- inspect floor for debris and spills and sweep or dry as necessary
- perform other duties as assigned by management
