The role available is integral to maintaining the seamless operation of the hotel’s dining service and overall guest satisfaction. As a key team member supporting the servers, this position is responsible for bussing and resetting tables promptly, running food and beverages, and engaging guests and team members with a positive, polite, and responsive attitude. The job requires an individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, consistently adhere to health and safety standards, and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

This role requires the employee to be proactive in maintaining cleanliness, restocking items, and monitoring food safety protocols as per Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) regulations. The individual will serve as a vital link between the front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) to ensure guest service is executed flawlessly. Job Requirements

  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Food Service Handler Card valid for at least 6 months
  • Preferred 1-2 years experience in full-service restaurant or lounge
  • Must enjoy being around and working with people
  • Comply with all safety and health department procedures and laws
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Adhere to hotel policies including attendance, safety, and behavior
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours
  • Communicate clearly in verbal and written English
  • Bend, squat, and stretch in limited space
  • Work in environments with varying temperatures, smoke, light, sound, and occasional outdoor conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Food Service Handler Card that is currently valid for a minimum of at least 6 months
  • Preferred 1-2 years experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge

Job Duties

  • Ensure that items are fully stocked and equipment is in good working condition
  • Strong knowledge and consistent use of SNHD regulations and standards
  • Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team
  • Consistently maintains clean and safe work area for self and other team members
  • Participate in seamless operation between BOH and FOH staff members ensuring proper service to our guests
  • Perform to high standards of excellence, execution, and cleanliness
  • Always keep your active SNHD Food Handler's card with you while on property
  • Execute proper health and safety protocols while operating equipment, handling food, storing food, maintaining temperature and time control logs, and sanitizing as dictated by the SNHD
  • Report health and safety incidents and concerns directly to leadership in an accurate and timely manner
  • Contribute to successful SNHD health inspections
  • Monitor and ensure cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats, and floor
  • Perform guest service duties as assigned such as beverage and plate service
  • Communicate with cashier and servers for needs and any guest service issues
  • Actively participate in all scheduled required training sessions
