The role of Busser at Harwood Arms is integral to maintaining the high standard of service the pub is known for. The Busser is responsible for overseeing table maintenance and ensuring the smooth flow of service within the dining room. This role supports servers by clearing food and utensils from tables promptly, resetting tables efficiently, providing water service to guests, and monitoring guest satisfaction to help create a pleasant dining atmosphere. Additionally, the Busser assists the kitchen by helping expedite the service process, coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
