The role they are currently hiring for is a full-time Busser position located at the Delta Sky Club in Los Angeles, CA. As a Busser, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area. This includes setting and clearing restaurant tables, stocking all service stations, and assisting servers with table service. The busser will have an active role in supporting guests by serving beverages, breads, and butter, and replenishing these as needed. Other essential responsibilities include transporting dirty tableware to dishwashing areas, ensuring all stations are well-stocked and tidy, and performing general cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and welcoming dining environment.

The role goes beyond mere table maintenance; Bussers at Eurest are also tasked with handling unexpected spills, assisting with special guest requests, and sometimes greeting and seating guests. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or fine-dining restaurant environment preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Open availability including weekends
  • Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work full time
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Quickly clears dirty table settings and prepares table for resetting
  • promptly and consistently resets all serviceware as prescribed
  • Maintains stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment, including silverware, linen and condiments
  • wipes down booths and chairs, moves tables and chairs, and cleans floors as necessary
  • Serves guests beverages, breads and butter and replenishes as necessary
  • assists servers with food and beverage service
  • Transports all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area
  • Performs any general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
  • Folds napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply
  • Performs all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, and greeting and seating guests
  • Performs other duties as assigned
