The role of Busser at Delicato Family Wines is vital to enhancing guest experiences in their restaurant and pool environments. The Busser assists Servers in delivering exceptional quality service and ensures guest areas are clean, orderly, and welcoming. Job Duties

  • maintains cleanliness and order throughout dining and work areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper areas
  • clears tables and resets them neatly and according to specification
  • ensures the front-of-house is presentable to guests
  • maintains knowledge of food menu and provides recommendations in describing menu items to guests to drive sales
  • assists server with providing wine presentations and recommendations
  • assists server in following proper plate presentation and garnish set up details
  • promotes restaurants, wines, tasting room, wine club and upcoming events
  • works with kitchen staff to ensure food is expedited quickly and correctly
  • communicates with service staff and managers about guest needs
  • takes the lead in any guest issues that may arise during your shift and communicates to the manager/supervisor
  • looks for ways to improve service, streamline the efficiency and maximize revenue possibilities
